Once we received the goods we inspected to make sure everything in the box arrived safely and that everything needed was in the box. One of the big selling points was the bulb. It is a 60 watt equivalent A19 filament LED light bulb producing 800 lumens of light!
Next step is the MOST IMPORTANT STEP, MAKE SURE YOU CUT THE POWER!!!
If your breaker box is not fully labeled, get a buddy and get this done. It makes projects like these faster, and its is critical in case of emergency!
After insuring that you turned the right breaker off, flick the switch off and on to verify the power is off. Once I have the fixture loose from the wall, I like to take a Klein Tools 69136 General Purpose Twin Lead Tester to double check to power is dead!
