Miramar, FL | Meredith's Birthday adventure

If you have followed along with me the last couple of years, you would know one of our favorite things to do for birthdays is to go on an adventure. Meredith’s birthday is in May and hits the most beautiful weather time in the Emerald Coast. Our destination for her trip this year was Miramar Beach, Florida.

We tend to love the 30A coast for beach focused family vacations. Miramar is found in Walton Co Florida. We stayed right on the coast in a sweet pet friendly condo. Our fur babies had to join the birthday festivities of course. With beachy roads, great restaurants within minutes, cute shops, an ice cream parlor right next to our condo and the most beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico, we were set for a relaxing and beach filled vacation.

Meredith turned 4 this year. She is in love with animals, being outside, scavenger hunts and of course the water. So naturally the beach was a perfect fit and her first choice to visit when we asked her. I think her most favorite thing to do was to hunt for shells. If it was a pink one, it was even better!

We kept an eye out for dolphins but couldn’t ever spot them. The funny seagulls were our constant visitors. We spotted and caught so many fish. The cute crabs on our night walks were a highlight of course.

Celebrating our sweet Meredith in Miramar was one for the books. It was full of relaxing, good food, family time, learning and exploring. We can’t wait to go back and visit again.
